  • From Nancy on "Le Mita Cola” G Minor Flute

I’d just like to thank you for the prompt delivery of my recently ordered flute. It arrived in just a few days, carefully packaged. The sound is wonderful, and the simplicity and future durability of the finish is amazing. (I’ve worked in woods and know a good finish) I’m an artistic person and have worked in many different medias but always wished I could do something musical. I wasn’t blessed with a singing voice and music is the one thing I love, that I hadn’t found a way to produce. I have no desire to learn to read music, which is another great thing about the Native American flute. Music theory is not necessary to make a joyful, or soulful expression. Thank you for giving me, the ability to express myself in the one way that always eluded me until now.
  • From Byron on D Minor Concert Flute

Your Padauk D Minor arrived Thursday as expected. It is beautiful, both
in appearance and voice. Now that we have a number of flutes (from a
variety of makers) and are filling in our collection for Paula and I to
play duets, we do not typically buy without playing them together first
to make sure they play well with each other. Based on our experience with
your flutes we purchased from festivals, we were confident in ordering
online. We tried first playing with our favorite "A minor" and it was
spot on (just like our other Butch Hall flutes), right out of the box.
We love it. Still loving the E minor Coyote Wood, Wolf carved flute we
    got at Yosemite!

Thanks again for the great flutes and service.

  • From Keith on E Minor Concert Flute

I just purchased an Em flute from you, and I have to admit that, because of the price, I was a bit skeptical on what the feel, the tone quality and the pitch accuracy of the flute would be like. I’ve played a few well-crafted flutes (which shall remain nameless) that cost quite a bit more than yours. But, within minutes my first effortless tones, I knew this flute would be a treasured part of my collection and an obvious "go-to" whenever I needed a warm rich sound of an NAF to fill the air.

A sincerest of thanks for the obvious energy and craftsmanship you put into these flutes.

  • From Peggy on "Le Mita Cola” G Minor Flute

hello Butch & Laura, got the new flute, it’s beautiful. it looks,
feels, and sounds very nice. the tone is full and rich, even at the
high end, i have paid twice as much for flutes that don’t sound half
as good. i can’t believe it only cost 65 dollars. the craftsmanship
is of the highest quality. i have just about worn out the flute i got
from you last year in Am. you are doing good work here. Thanks-Terry

  • From Robert on D Minor Concert Flute

    Dear Laura, Butch and Rachael,
I want to thank you all for the wonderful flutes you’ve just sent me!
Now I have four of your great-sounding instruments for my recordings.
I especially want to let you know how much I appreciate the D flute!!!
It sounds perfect. And what a wonderful surprise to see the fantastic
inlay work you’ve done!!! I have a special place in my heart for the
saguaro cactus. I’ve had a few really unforgettable experiences and
adventures among these great spirits of the Sonora Desert. It’s like
you’ve read my heart and sent me a most appropriate gift. _I consider it
a special blessing from you to me._
After receiving these flutes, I explored your website further, looking
at the picture albums of your family and friends. This connection to you
makes my new flutes (friends) even more special.
I consider your flutes to be the only ones I’d ever want to own. I can’t
imagine anything better. As merchants, my wife, Suzanne and I have
stocked and sold some very nice flutes in the past, and i think we know
a little bit about other flutes. I’ve kept a few of the best from our
stock for myself. But yours are different… I feel so blessed that I
tuned-in to your flutes when I was searching the internet for something
    better. I love the way they sound; I love the way they look and feel;
and I love the way they smell, even!!!
    Thank you again. May you prosper well in peace, health and happiness;
knowing your great contribution to so many.

  • From Karen on "Little Bird" b Minor Flute

My Little Bird, book and bag arrived today! It is even lovelier than the picture…cedar heartwood. It was carefully packed and arrived timely. I’m just getting started with it, but it is so easy to play, and I love the tone I’m able to get already. Thank you so much for this quality product. I look forward to many sweet hours of music.

  • From Michelle Kollmann on "Le Mita Cola” G Minor Flute

If you are new to Native American Flutes, this is an excellent entry level flute. Do not be deceived by either the very reasonable price or the term ‘starter’ as this flute is not a toy, but is truly an instrument in every sense of the term. The sound is very mellow and soothing. Most of the music for these flutes includes note-by-note pictures of which holes must be covered or open, so that one does not really need to be able to read music in order to play a tune.

My Le Mita Cola was worth its weight in gold on a recent 12-hour car ride (each way) with a toddler! It was light-weight, compact, and each time a "storm brewed" the soothing sounds were an instant, improvised lullaby – and soothed the nerves of the adults.

    You will love this flute!
